Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer

Uri Yablonka is Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer of BrainStorm and a member of its Board of Directors. He joined in June 2014 as Chief Operating Officer and director, and took his current role in March 2017.

AI is advancing so fast that, to find a good integration expert, he had to become one himself. Now an AI leader in biopharma, he focuses on agentic AI in biotech, where these systems meet R&D, clinical, CMC and operating constraints. As a lawyer, he is also an expert in the legal aspects of agentic AI.

Before BrainStorm, he spent six years at the Maariv daily newspaper, including as a diplomatic correspondent, then moved into public relations and strategy consulting as a Senior Partner at PM-PR Media Consulting. He later ran his own consulting firm and served as Vice President, Business Development at ACC International Holdings.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) and a master’s degree in commercial law (LL.M), is a member of the Israeli Bar Association and has trained in Good Clinical and Good Manufacturing Practice. That mix of law, journalism and strategy helps when the problem is evidence, stakeholders and cross-border execution under uncertainty.
